OK so security for you to check out,I personally use Windows Live One Care, and I haven't had a virus yet, although I do turn off all my security and search sites I know are probably infected and pick up spyware and viruses so I can test out all the security/spy/malware programs for you guys.

Windows Live One Care ***** $49.95
I touched on this program earlier it was a breeze to install and took up very little time. It really was a few clicks on the mouse and I was fully protected. It comes with Antivirus & Antispyware, Online ID protection, Firewall, Multi-PC management, Printer sharing and Backup and restore.
BitDefender **** $39.95
Installation could have been done by my 2yr old a few clicks and installed,I expect he could operate this too! Very very simple to use click and scan, this program uses little resources but the scan was a bit slower then the above mentioned, this is also missing parental control so if you are looking for family security look elsewhere.
Norton 360 **** $79.99
Norton has actually made a good product this time around, it is surprisingly quick this and it doesn't seem to take up too much space like before, but it is twice the price of everything else on the market and it is another program without any parental controls, so even though it is good are you going to choose this over the top two ? Didn't think so
Trend micro **** $49.95 And finally Trend micro, good easy program to use, Good on resources but hard on the security side which is great, a very efficient tool which has all the security features and more, bit pricey but worth the money.
Freeware security
If you are unwilling to pay for security then you are at the right place, below are the only two programs you need the make a decision on, they are both on par with each other, even though these are both good programs I highly recomend you download one of the above security programs, there is no price you can put on securing all you personal information and for around $40 a year it’s a small price to pay for piece of mind.
AVG 8: This is probably the number 1 free security out there, it is low on resources but still a powerful little program, it provides basic antivirus and anti spyware protection for windows including Vista, it has limited features with no customer support and is available for private use only.
This is very easy to install and works for you instantly, the scan process is a bit slow but hey its free and it works.
Avast: This is another very cool free program, again limited on what you can do, but totally free, very easy install with just a few clicks, all the features of the above program
